Great read - it's pretty clear Neil Tennant wasn't thrilled were the musical trends were going at that moment. Big swings and misses on negative reviews for Dead or Alive, ABC, Art of Noise, Eurythmics, New Edition singles and postive reviews for Sylvester and Blue Nile.
